Successful Selling Ideas

Although the internet has practically taken over how people do everything these days, I have noticed over time that my handmade jewelry pieces sell in comparably better in person than they do online. 

Pinterest

Pinterest is the newest and in my opinion, greatest, social media outlet to hit society. It provides users with something new and different that is super creative and clever.

This is one social media outlet that you can spend hours on and not be a total waste of time. It gives you your own personal place to keep, access, and gather a bunch of different things that inspire you, with the ability to refer back to them any time. 

Users can upload their own content as pins, re-pin their friends pins, or search categories to see anything that is currently going around the entire Pinterest community at that time. You chose who's boards to follow based on what content updates you want to receive and stay connected with.

This brilliant concept means that pins circulate all over with an endless amount of potential viewers to re-pin the images, therefore passing along every newly discovered thing. 

As a pinner myself, I am confident that these pins boost the web traffic on their associated sites - which get checked out constantly so users can see what else can be found there.

Designer Insight

I believe that the items people create reveal details and certain aspects which tell a lot about them. Everything embodies a personality, which in this case is revealed by a persons creations, thus giving insight into the designers unique character. 

Their creative expression is shown through the styles, methods and materials used, the function or purpose of their designs including a statement and message to the world, as well as the resulted emotional response or impression caused by their work. 

Anything can show a reflection of who the artist is and their personal views or passions, what is important to them and their interests.

You can also observe and understand a collection’s concept or intention, its purpose and what they bring to the table with their items to makes them special, unique and stand out among others. 

The creative inspiration shown illustrates how they transform visions stimulated by other influences into something completely new, making it theirs.

Statement necklaces are huge in fashion right now. They are the must have accessory that gives your wardrobe a fresh new addition that is style savvy and embodies a modern take on jewelry.

Bold pieces that are the focal point of an outfit make it easy to turn any look into one that is stylish and interesting with just one simple addition.

I think of statement necklaces as jewelry art since they have a complexity which requires an intricate vision necessary for a thought out composition. I also strongly believe that these pieces really show you what a designer is capable of in terms of creativity and taste, technical abilities, innovation, as well as design and style range.

These specific items are my favorite design style to make because I get to be the most creative.

How LBV Got Started

Accessories are an important component in the world of fashion which is a love and passion of mine. That fact combined with having a great eye for style (according to my friends who always want to wear everything I have) made me confident that I had the right taste to allow me to present something people would like.

My whole life I’ve always thrived off of creativity and love being able to make things myself. Therefore, all of these factors lead to designing my own jewelry.

I always saw fashion editorials or pictures of these great necklaces and would try to find something similar looking but never succeeded. I like being able to create things that I envision wearing or pieces that are different and fresh or hard to find.

Jewelry is something that every woman or girl can wear at any size and anytime styled with different looks over and over again. This is why I try to design items targeted at all age groups and incorporate a variety of different styles so there is something for everyone.

I offer a unique and exclusive collection, and also offer the option to personalize custom items so clients can get exactly what they want. You get to be the designer!

    

How Vintage Jewelry Can Be Made Current

Magazine advertisements and editorials are full of innovative, creative styles. One of the clever details that many stylists as well as your average fashionable woman incorporate into an outfit is vintage jewelry. They add a twist to any look with the older, classic yet unusual style that definitely makes a unique and interesting statement.

However, some of the older jewelry is hard to actually wear or may be out of style, such as clip-on earrings or brooches. But with a little help, they can transform into a current, wearable one of a kind piece, which is what I do in my necklace collection. 

Having my own special tricks and techniques is important to me, so I wanted to offer something different yet simple and clever that people would want to wear.

One of my design tricks included in my work, and by far the easiest, is turning great clip-on earrings into a necklace pendant.
